I want share the story of Elizabeth who has “had an epiphany” with the real strong lifestyle despite facing the challenges 2020 and pandemic life has thrown at her.⁣

“Thank you, Melanie Lund, RSCC, and all of you ladies for being in my life. ♥️ ~~ I just had a major epiphany and I’m shedding a few happy tears so I wanted to share and let you know how appreciative I am for our tribe and all I’ve learned here. I am at the pool in FL in a bathing suit and just realized what a different experience this is to actually feel comfortable in my own skin. I feel strong and confident, and am not obsessively worried about my flaws showing or how people may be judging me. ⁣
⁣
I am not skinny or totally toned or in shape, and I’m actually ok with that. I am not covering up, hiding, or merely planning what next fattening thing I will eat to further feed my negative feelings and self image.
⁣
It is so freeing (and relaxing) to realize I no longer need to haul around the emotional weight of all the internal negative self and body image baggage I hadn’t even acknowledged was so heavily weighing me down and holding me back all these years. ⁣
⁣
I can finally accept my body and the fact that I don’t need to be perfect. But most importantly, I feel proud of myself for making progress and getting stronger — physically AND emotionally — every damn day. ⁣
⁣
I know I’ll have future stumbles when I skip a workout, eat my feelings, or feel self-doubt. But I also now know I deserve to be proud of and accept myself, and that I have the skills (and encouragement of all of you) to keep pushing positively ahead. ♥️”⁣

I share Elizabeth’s story with you because I want you to know that taking care YOU shouldn’t be something you take on when “life settles down..”⁣
