Meet the "Tried that, didn't work" diet demon
This demon whispers "If it hasn't worked yet, it's never going to happen."
After going around the dieting block a few times, you're back. Not surprising in the least- you love the idea of dieting, but never seem to stick with it. Nothing has worked before, so why would your latest attempt to follow your coworker’s meal plan be any different? After all, it was your husband's suggestion you give it another try - the nerve!
You've worked hard your entire life and damn it; you’re going to eat that bowl of ice cream or potato chips and whatever else you want (but you did ask him to help hold you accountable, didn't you?).
Who the hell are they to tell you what to do or eat anyways?! Its not like you eat garbage all the time, right? Fruits, vegetables, healthy grains - they’re all there on the plate. Secretly you want to quit because it feels like you’ve tried all of this before, but knowing that others are watching what you’re eating or doing keep you obsessed over what to eat - in public. Alone? You continue to put butter on everything and refuse to see it as a problem. You used to eat whatever you wanted and it wasn't a big deal, so why now? Deep down, you know why.
Excuses to commit are your diet demon. You become determined to make a change, but not enough to really change. Deep down you know what is hurting you but you haven’t found a way to be happy and make those changes. A consistent cheerleader in your life, someone to really hold you accountable would help and might just do the trick.

Find your tribe
The internet is a pretty cool place these days bursting at the seams with resources, programs and communities of women. This is good news for you but I encourage you to look for a group that shares the same goals and focus as you. Your decision to quit dieting and create long lasting lifestyle changes is a BIG deal and you're going to want a group that can give you the tools, accountability and support along the way so that the shifts you make truly come from you and what you need most.
We can help you with that.
Before we go any further, let me introduce myself!
Hey, I'm Melanie!
I help busy mamas - just like you! - who’ve “tried it all” finally become healthy, strong, and confident in their bodies once and for all. When I started out I was frustrated... the thought of starting another program and failing AGAIN was unbearable.
I started using dumbbells & spending less time in my workouts and I was actually seeing change in the way I looked and felt.
I stopped dieting, learned a few basic things about nutrition and started eating more of the foods I loved everyday.
Now I am seeing my body change like never before, I am losing weight and keeping it off seems simple and doable long term. I can't wait for you to see the exact same results in your body and in your life.
